Marana Auditorium

The Hurstville Entertainment Centre's signature venue the Marana Auditorium, epitomises the charm and elegance of a 1950s style venue. Spanning two levels, the Marana has the ability to cater for casual cocktail functions, a 450 seated grand dinner and concert performances for up to 1,500 people in standing capacity.

Rates start at $130 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours.

HIRE PERIOD
Monday to Sunday 7.00am - midnight. The hire period includes set up and pack down time. Hire period is for the Marana Auditorium, entrance foyer, box office and cloak room. Use of dressing rooms is also included in hire.

CONDITIONS OF HIRE
Please note: no connection to or modification of the electrical installation, lighting and sound system, stage fittings, equipment, facilities or other properties is permitted without prior arrangement with Council.

Hirer and guests must remain within the designated hire area at all times. Use of the in-house furniture is included in the venue hire fee. Tables and chairs must not be removed from the venue at any time.  Any furniture or equipment required other than those already provided must be supplied by the Hirer at their own expense and liability. Requirements will be discussed and agreed on at the production meeting.

In accordance with fire and safety regulations for the venue, the Marana Auditorium foyer must be kept clear of all tables, merchandise stands and additional furniture. This includes any tables placed in front of the cloak room.

The Box Office and Cloak Room are available for use for your event free of charge for any registrations, merchandise or ticket sales. Please speak to the HEC staff member to arrange the Box Office and Cloak Room when booking your event.

REFRESHMENT BAR
A fully licensed Refreshment Bar is available to Hirer’s guests for light refreshments and beverages on a request basis.
