Explore Indian home cooking over an afternoon tea of chai and chaat, with Gunjan Aylawadi, Depinder Chhibber, Suraj Kolarkar and host Jennifer Wong.

Join us for a chat show celebrating a shared love of Indian food and cooking. Hear how food, comedy and culture influence each other while enjoying chai and chaat.

The event features Flyover Fritterie founder Gunjan Aylawadi, Depinder Chhibber from MasterChef Australia, and comedians Suraj Kolarkar and Jennifer Wong.

Chaat, which means “lip-smacking”, refers to small snacks commonly sold on the streets of India. These snacks are typically tangy, sweet, sour and spicy, with plenty of texture and crunch.

Lovingly prepared by Gunjan and the Flyover Fritterie team, the menu’s bold flavours are inspired by the food stalls found under the flyovers of bustling Indian cities.

Expect stories involving onion bhaji, insights into Indian home cooking and plenty of laughs. The event is hosted by Jennifer Wong from ABC TV’s Chopsticks or Fork?.
